Thanks for the continued votes. I'll go ahead and count the ones from this thread (since it's late in the game anyway), but please PM then. It's not so much the anonymity as much as people seeing other people's votes can influence them. E.g. - If poster X and poster y would have gotten about equal votes overall, but poster x got 4 of the first 5, it could affect others who might just go along with someone who seems like a lock to win. Or if 2 get a lot of votes early, people might just vote for one of them rather than a 3rd person figuring they'd have no chance.

I had schedule nominations to be announced on Sunday and awards to be released on Tuesday.
The unfortunate part is my power charger caught on freakin' FIRE tonight. I smelled burning, looked down and saw it sparking where there was a fray in the cable, and went to unplug it. As I did, it started to actually burn.
SO... sadly, all the votes are tallied on an Excel sheet on my laptop. I'm using a desktop to log in right now and the battery on the laptop is donezo. So, hopefully I can get it charged up and still announce, but it may be delayed by a day or two.
How stupid is that timing? Never had a charger catch on fire before.

I wish I was kidding (and I know you were just mucking about Boss, not like I was on your lawn or anything).
I was in the middle of a poker tourney where I was doing well and had to switch computers, download software, etc. 7,500 people and still finished around 50th -had aces get cracked by K-Q off suit. Brutal way to go out.
I was actually going to do a YouTube video for the awards presentation, but not sure if I'll be able to now with the laptop powerless and alone.
Gonna be a tough call - retail charger for $70 or Ebay retread that might catch on fire for $20. They really whore you with the factory stuff, especially with a Mac.
Anyhow, yeah, Boss, you can unsticky both Hookies threads. I'm gonna post new threads for the nominees and awards so everything is on the original post there (instead of being on page 4.5). Besides, if it takes an extra day or two b/c of the power situation, it might save an angry mob to have these drop to page 2.
