We did go to kohls where i saved a crapload of money on things i didnt even know they were doing it but they gave 30% off today and we got a bunch of stuff that was already 60% off so we scored big time

It was 2 degrees with the windchill so i said hey you wana go walk around kohls(after our workout we usually walk around the park as a cool down), LOL get there and the parking lot is packed, im like wtf is this, get in there and see a ton of blue hairs, i didnt even realize they had an additional 30% off ON TOP of the 60% off on a ton of stuff til i got to the registers and it said "this weekend through monday an additional 30% off for veterans and active duty" i was thrilled and im like surely they wont give us another deal on top of the awesome deals we already got, whipped out the ol ID thinking meh cant hurt, sure enough it was 30% on top of everything else. Was stoked

They informed me that every monday they give 15% off to Veterans/Military when i was getting the 30% deal, which is better than Home Depot and Auto Zone who give 10%

That is useful information. Lowe's is also 10%. I'm normally not much for the coupon thing, but Lowe's gives you a card, and I like the loyalty card thing...I know there isn't a difference, but somehow I like the former and disdain the latter. Too much time spent traveling I guess, I'm used to the card/number thing...weird I know.

Damn. I thought I was a glass half full kind of guy, that might be the most positive thing I've ever heard somebody say about Tet.

I always told people I would not change my combat experience for the world, but I also tell them I wouldn't go through it again for any amount of money.

I did a paper once on Operation Pegasus, the air assault to Khe San in '68. did you happen to get scooped up in that, if I recall it was all 7th and 12th Cav, but I also know sometimes org charts get fuzzy when the shit hits the fan.
