What the fuck is wrong woth these guys? No excuse, it is time to pick things up and they cant fucking score? This is happening to many times. We had a chance to pick up momentum after the Pens win. Now we come out and play like this? Where is the killer instinct? Im always positive and will support this team no matter what, but enough is enough. Someone has to take this team by the throat very soon else there wont be a run this year.

How lucky can Atlanta be? They get half as many pucks to the net and yet manage to somehow get the only lucky bounce of the game. That said, we should have put them away in the first period. The second effort just isn't there often enough, that is the truth of the matter, despite playing a decent game altogether. Maybe decent isn't going to cut it this time of year. It's fucking embarrassing to lose to the Thrashers three times in a month when we should be desperate for points to clinch the division and top seed.

Just couldnt finish. Briere had an easy goal but didnt raise it off the ice before Mason got across. Carter had one but hes "Mr. Clutch". Agree with Superfly. We completely outplayed them tonight. Glad to see the bodies still flying around hitting bodies. Outshot Thrashers 43-22.

It's just frustrating to see zero on the board tonight when you expect there to be at least four based on the shots and chances we had.

Im ok with tonights performance. Yeah obviously I wanted to see a win tonight but they played decent just didnt score. Thrashers playoff hopes were over if they would of lost...(the whole desperation hockey argument excuse). If we get shutout tomorrow which I dont expect, then we can raise these issues.

I don't see that killer drive by anyone. Yes, it should have been 4-2 us by the end of the first and yes, Mason played huge, but they all lack that overriding determination that makes great teams great.

Like a few of us have touched on over the last couple of weeks....if they don't find that killer gear soon, they will get bounced quickly in the playoffs.

That's called "mediocre/bad goaltending." The Flyers are literally incapable of winning a 1-0 game. Bob may have played great tonight, but Mason played better. That might be something we hear a lot in the playoffs, too, and might be what ultimately ends the season...

For now, it was just another regular season game that didn't break the Flyer's way. No reason to read any more into it than that.
