I get that they have to give days off. This is just more examples of how thin they are that they can barely field a team when healthy and have no room for injury or days off.

No one expects they will do a damned thing to help out at the trade deadline either.

And we're now at the part of the season where things can go downhill really fast.

Between now and August 11, the M's get 2 days off besides the All Star Break, and play 2 stints of 17 in a row over that time.

Maybe they'll do something magical here?
