Getting shutout at home by a guy with a 5.69 ERA. Fucking Jeckyl and Hyde Mariners. Polanco, for three weeks now, looking more like the 2024 version of himself.

Fun fact: ARoz only hitting .211 against righties and .254 against lefties. But he walks more against righties so his OPS is actually higher against righties. Go figure...

He does have options. I think they'll probably give him 1 more start. We'll see.

Well that wasn’t on the bingo card. Wonder if it was a mistake to not have Kirby have surgery. Which makes me wonder what Gilbert and Miller will look like.

Kirby is such a mental midget I feel like it would be equally bad for his confidence to get sent down after a couple of bad starts.

But yeah, I think it would be good for him for the most part. I don't think sending a struggling pitcher with so much + stuff down the minors is always the best move, but I do in this case.

I think that plays a big part with him. I have read a lot of fans commenting about his mental makeup. He could be his worst enemy, but he needs to go down. He has some speed on his pitches, but his location is way off and the finishing movement is not there. They are just floaters. Sad to see.

I'm not a fan of it either but maybe he'll find a spark down there cause it's not going to happen with the big ball club. It'll become a throw away game and we can't afford that.
