George Kirby going up against Trevor Williams. I'm thinking Kirby is going to look much, much better now that he got the jitters of that first start on the year out of the way.

When Gilbert and Miller are back Evans has to stay in the rotation right? Send down Hancock (not that he's been bad, just Evans has been better) and then unload Castillo's contract on some other team. Use the freed up money to sign Gilbert.

I think that is going to be a real question mark. You never have enough pitching, but at the same time you don't want to waste a guys arm in the minors if he has shown he is ready for the bigs. Myself, I would take a chance and deal Castillo. Get back decent bat even if it is a prospect ready for the majors. Use the money for some relievers. Roll the dice.

I feel like Evans is going to excel at AAA now. He'll be back a couple more times this year I'm betting.

It is really odd, especially cause Castillo is in the plan for the playoff push. If Evans is a main stay in the rotation I think they may trade for a starter.

Sucks Evans got sent down after his outing last night, but it does make sense. On the bright side this stretch has shown we can have 3 starters go down and still be fine, not a lot of teams can say that.

Yeah, they send down a kid who’s pitching well and keep Kirby going who’s pitching like $@@$ .. Kirby is just terrible right now ..
