Giddy or not it is not going to set him back a year to come up here for 2 weeks. They could bring up a kid from Hickory for 2 weeks without doing any major damage to him. Certainly not set him back a year.

If they play a backup for two weeks while a guy is hurt I don't think you can call that coasting though. If that is coasting they started coasting when they made the decision to have Rosales on the team in the first place since they knew he would be needed at a time like this at some point.

I think you are seeing a risk that isn't really there, but that is your opinion and that is fine with me. I just wouldn't be surprised if the Rangers see it differently. They may have so much confidence in Rosales that they don't even consider it. By the time he is playing here for good it probably won't make much difference where he plays the next two weeks.
