Anyone take note of all that Elvis BS in the dugout rah-rah-rah having fun?

I'm wore out with that nonsense. Play your position, don't blunder on the base-paths, and put the fucking pom-pom's down damnit.
Sure as hell did and that's a lot of his problem. No concentration on why he's there.

Thank you.....My gosh.....Sorry, but I lost my concentration and semi-rational train-of-thought with thinking/watching/listening about EA, and the avoidance of anyone wanting to take that fucker out behind the gym and give him the attitude adjustment which is WAY WAY overdue.

Banister needs to nut-up here. But I've beat that drum to death and I know it.

Hadn't seen that yet, guess they thought Alberto has more upside and he became expendable

That's what has Rosales lit up the last few nights. He knew with Hanser up to put pressure on Elvis that either he or Field was gone when they brought Chi Chi up. Rosales can't play SS anymore but is effective at the other three IF spots ... and he's hitting too. Field knew he was toast at the same time.

Beltre just isn't having any real good swings lately

You are right. It is sad when Chirinos has a higher OBP, SLG and more RBIs than him and it is not like Chirinos is tearing it up.

He is hilarious though. He stops everything his way and usually does it with his entire body. But one thing not mentioned much about last nights game even by the media was the play he made on a ball that looked like a sure hit in the hole between 1st and 2nd.

Banister didn't have an answer (weapon) until Alberto was added. Now he does.

Congrats to Chi Chi for a very good debut. I am looking forward to this kid pitching here for several years.

It was a web gem on BBTN. Saving that hit may have saved the game.

He should cut the walks down going forward. Get Yu locked up and then check out these rotation options.

Yu
Holland
Perez
Chi chi
Jake Thompson
Matt Harrison (maybe, any word on his velocity last appearance?)
Colby
Martinez

That's some depth at pitcher there.

To me it is never acceptable to allow a player to control an unacceptable situation. Especially when he IS the UNACCEPTABLE situation.

Rosales can't play there you say. I'd put his ass out there yesterday and tell EA, "that's how far you've fallen you overpaid cheerleader."

Sorry, but Andrus has made me go completely off the deep end. I'm not even interesting in being rational about it. :gaah:

Well, Detroit has started beautifully. Back to back jacks given up to Trout and Calhoun. 2-0 Angels.

The only thing keeping Elvis in the lineup is he is driving in runs.

Then there is Ortiz. He is thought by some to be the best of the bunch. Then there is Asher and the kid, Frank Lopez who they just moved up from High Desert to Frisco who has been lights out.

I am willing to wait and see what Harrison's velocity is when he is pitching on his rehab assignment. He may not be amped up enough in extended ST to get the velocity up to where it is going to be. I am just thrilled that he hasn't had any setbacks.

Imagine what this team would be like if the rotation JD built is actually the rotation they're running out there.

Thanks for reminding me how much this team has been kicked in the balls by injury.

I'm thinking more about the rotation we're likely to see next year when I think our window is going to open back up.
