That double play should have ended the inning with no one across, but the umpire decided a baseball 100% inside the strike zone was ball four instead.

Pedro's out of the gate like a rocket this year. Lots of great signs from his hitting, not just all the home runs. Going the other way with two strikes against the shift last night was also great.

My thoughts exactly. Was thinking of that grounder last night to the 3rd baseman who wasn't there as well.

I think we signed the good Hart. At least, that's how it looks so far. He's been fantastic this season.

Nice pickoff by Burnett, and Pedro chases down a stumbling Davis for the out.

Burnett conceding some hard contact in the fourth. Got Miggy swinging before it, though. Miggy wasn't happy, either, and swatted the ball out of Cervelli's hand as he tagged him. Cervelli looked comically disappointed afterward.

I probably would have picked the ball up and threw it at him.

Greene is a really solid pitcher. I think the Yankees made a mistake letting him go. Good velocity, lots of movement. There's some serious upside there.
