That Dodge does look a lot more palatable than the feggy Jap vans. I used to have a 1500 and the thing was flawless despite my beating the living shit out of it. This is a lot for $25k: Dodge : Caravan R/T in Dodge | eBay Motors

Womens are such a PITA though. She wanted a minivan. Then she wanted an Explorer...then a Land Rover LR4...yesterday a Toyota 4Runner... :L :L

A woman doesn't know what she wants - it's a universal law.

^ I was going to try to talk her into an 80s vintage LandCruiser. I figured having an '89 Waggy and LandCruiser would be boss. Like this: Toyota : Land Cruiser FJ62 in Toyota | eBay Motors

She'll never go for it. Most women like new and shiney and plasticy and shitty...mine is no exception.

hell yeah, those old Land Cruisers are one of my favorite SUVs. Also really like the old Land Rover Discovery from the 90s

LR4 yes, LR3/Discovery3...no. Pre 2009 those things were pieces of shit. The new ones tend to have some of those bugs worked out. Go for 2010 or newer LR4.

Hey RobBase: Me too. I love all things Chrysler. I would love to pick-up one of those SRT-8 Grand Cherokees but sooooo many cars, not enough doe-re-mi!!

I had a '98 Disco and it was pretty nice. My ex-wife got rear-ended by a semi and wasn't even hurt despite 20k damage to the truck and $14k to the LR. Had she been in a Honda or something, she'd probably be dead. That being said....nevermind.

Yeah, badass. Someone around here has one. But it's not really an SUV - it's more of a tractor or something that goes really slowly and has a 4 cylinder.

This is whatcha' want...but like me can't find one and won't pay stupid money:

The Saga Continues

So, I got the wifey almost talked out of a minivan. Now she says she wants a red Ford Flex with a crème roof. (I didn't tell her a Flex is the cheap Ford version of the Lincoln MKT she's been driving for 3 years :L)

I go down to the dealer to talk to my acquaintance down there. Well, guess what, the Flex can have a woody package!

Dreams do come true - they can happen to you. Do I dare bring home one of these MFers??

Chock fulla' wholesome awesomeness:

Ok...so, I think I dodged the minivan delimma. The wife has changed her mind again and now wants a Grand Cherokee. After test driving one, she said it was the nicest driving car she's ever been in. I gotta turn her Lincoln in next week or they're gonna charge me.

So, I called the guy I know at the dealership and said I'd lease a Summit if the deal was right or I'd buy if I could get one with their new "ecodiesel" because diesels seem to really hold their value.

I'll be glad when this bullshit is over. But the lessen here is that if you don't like a decision your wife is about to make, she'll change her mind if you make her wait awhile!
