...after 7 seasons. Played for Pat Summitt (1098-208) (.841) and was an assistant of Pat's for 27 years before taking over as head coach. It's hard as hell to replace a legend. Her overall record is 172-67 (.720). Three Elite 8s and one Sweet 16. Not bad, however...Summitt lost 44 conference games in 30 years; Warlick lost 34 in just 7 including a 7-9 mark this past season and Tennessee finished under .500 in conference for the first time ever.

Ha! He doesn't have to coach;

Summitt was designated to be a non-spouse beneficiary of his mother's state pension. When Pat Summitt retired, she opted to collect a monthly benefit of $14,460 or $173,520 annually in 2012. That benefit, with an annual cost-of-living adjustment, will be collected by her son for the rest of his life.

Of course that is the main reason we have to tax the rich more. Assuming this is true, this guy is getting 3.5 times the average household income because his mom coached basketball. Are we nuts or what?

Tax the rich? WTF are you talking about? It was a Tennessee gov't pension created by the Tennessee gov't that will keep this guy fat and happy the rest of his life. How is taxing the rich got anything to do with a gov't created subsidized non-spousal pension?

It is the pensions ,among other things, that are the government's justification for taxing the rich more than they are already. But we all know that while the left wants to have the rich "pay their fair share", the threshold for what constitutes rich is much, much lower than a 1,000,000 per year. When all is said an done the tax increases will be closer to the actual average income. In the democrats world, the answer to who is rich is "it's you".

I used to teach economics.

Rich is a relative word which our former President said was $200,000 per year; which if you own a business that's a minimum that your business( ultimately you as a biz owner) is getting taxed at that rate.

What Income Level Is Considered Rich?

No Country, State, County, Municipality, ever taxed itself into prosperity. Taxing the job creators, the risk takers, and the Producers is an unwise way to create gov't wealth.
