Willie wilson definitely not, vince coleman is close but probably not in... 800 seems like a great milestone for SBs...

Seems like a pretty convenient one too. 50 SBs isn't a "great" stolen base seasonal total but 53 is? Hell, there have been 27 seasons since 1931 (when the last major rule change regarding SBs was implemented) where no one in all of MLB had 50 SBs.

Or that Nolan Ryan was a great pitcher.....

It's amazing how in one generation Nolan Ryan went from being the most overrated player in sports history to the most underrated.

Honestly, i have not worked out what i beleive the milestones should be yet... i was too quick on this thread to make a statement... so to that i am wrong... I do think 800 is a good milestone for SBs, because as of now that is only the top 5 SB guys... and since SB is less important in offensive value than HRs it should not be created equal in the milestone... And i stated that i think the HR milestone is too low... i think it should be more like 600...
