How in the hell would a top 3 rusher not be in a discussion for best in the NFL for either year???

:wtf2:

Because you had to be retarded to even think about anyone but Barry sanders as the hands down, in arguable, best in the NFL.

Steven Jackson is starting to make a case. He is only one of 6 players to make 8 straight 1,000 yard seasons. In 2006 Jackson rushed for 1528 yds and had 806 receiving yds, for a total of 2334 yds and 16 tds (beating Faulk's record). He's getting up there in yardage too. He's starting to look like a Curtis Martin.

Is Strahan going to have Favre introduce him since the record breaker was a gift from Brett?

Your still tip-toeing around my point. I agree that Sanders was the best of his time, but there is no possible way that a top 3 rusher wasn't in the discussion of "best" in the NFL at that time. I'm not at all saying he was better than anyone, I'm just stating that his name had to be brought up.

Yes, there was. Because the discussion was Barry and Barry alone. No one was in the discussion.

So you're saying that neither Terrell Davis nor Jerome Bettis was ever invoved in that discussion? Because to say that Terrell Davis wasn't involved is even more ridiculous than saying Bettis wasn't...

Yes, that is what I am saying. Barry was in a class of his own and you would have needed to be braindead to even consider mentioning another name as best in the NFL.

Andre friggn' Reed over Marvin Harrison? :wtf2: Over Tim Brown??? :wtf2:

Was that a pity selection just because it's the Buffalo Bills and they're trying to prevent suicides?

Stats don't lie, Emmitt Smith was the best RB of all time. Durable, quick, tough, not afraid to go between the tackles, TD's, yards.....3 super bowls.

Pretty simple, really.
