I'm still not giving up on Holland and Perez.

I'm not punting any one of the 3. But to have all 3 of em going 5.1 will not get us far, or even too, the post season.

BP can only do so much. But this said, I was really encouraged by Perez's last outing. He temporarily melted down there, and then regrouped, and ended up with a nice outing really.

Fairness to Holland......anyone coming back and expected to be at top form after missing pretty much a season is being examined with a tough eye.

Perez probably isn't in the playoff rotation, but that may depend on who we play.

Agreed......And we've really been fortunate to have seen Buddy Bell and Steve Buchele there too. Nice 3rd base play. But none of em could do what AB has and is doing, that's for sure!

Oh ya for sure but I imagine he'll get lots of opportunities to come in early and pitch quite a bit if the starting pitching continues to be somewhat shaky as it has been as of recent.

Can't imagine this is not a foregone conclusion for him really. Not trying to be a homer, but he's loved it here, and he's had his best success in Arlington as well. Bye quite a bit really.
