This is laughable. Michigan also had a decade head start on other programs. And they don't even have the best winning % of all time.

You are entitled to your opinion. And, Michigan is just behind ND in winningest percentage. Notre Dame just took over winningest percentage a couple of years ago. Hang onto your hat!

If you divide CFB history in half, Michigan certainly hasn't had the accomplishments of others in the second half of CFB History.

If you take the first half of CFB History they come in behind Yale, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, Notre Dame in wins and winning percentage. So there is evidence they didn't even make the top 5 in the first half of CFB history either.

Just sayin'

I'm not dividing history. I'm looking at the all-time record.

Well, it's a good thing then because you're getting your ass kicked in each half of it.
And how exactly, do you get your ass kicked in each half and come out of it #1.

Michigan has more all-time wins than Notre Dame, which, unlike the others, has been a factor in the second half of CFB history and is just behind the Irish in winningest percentage. So, the record speaks for itself.

Is Cy Young the greatest pitcher of all time or the worst pitcher of all time? He has the most wins and the most losses ever.

You are making yourself look like a fool. Michigan won 90 games prior to 1900 and played a total of 118 games during that time. By comparison Notre Dame played 50 and won 36 of them. Michigan had the benefit of them starting their history earlier and playing way more games against teams in the infancy of their programs.

But, Michigan doesn't have the most losses of all time.

Ever since the 'Forward Pass' was legal in CFB in 1906, Michigan is 10th in all time wins.
If it wasn't for that fucking forward pass thing, Michigan would have done so much more.

I'd say that those who are arguing that historically Michigan is overrated are making fools of themselves. Michigan is .079 percentage points behind ND in winningest percentage. But, as I said earlier, hang on to your hat.

As I have said, I am looking at the entire history of CFB.

Michigan was awesome beating up on teams in the late 1800's when other programs were in their infancy. Congrats on that. And Michigan and Notre Dame are pretty much in the same boat now. I don't really give a shit what ND did a hundred years ago. Neither have been relevant this century. But to claim Michigan as the best college football program because of wins is laughable.

OK. You're entitled to your opinion, too.

Yeah but they got this rusty nail hanging in their locker room.

Which is why Michigan is always better than Oregon. Despite the CEO of Nike basically dumping money into the Oregon AD -- Michigan holds their biggest apparel contract for a reason; and it's that rusty nail that Oregon just doesn't have.

Yeah, the 1800's, the 1900's and the early 2000's. But who's counting. It's not like ND doesn't count all those wins from the 1800's either. Despite not winning as many randomly handed out national titles as Notre Dame, Michigan has won the most games, and is only 2nd to ND in winning percentage, for a reason; and it has little to do with the probably less than 50 games that happened pre-1900. Prior to the Rich Rod hire, Michigan hadn't had a losing season since before Bo. We have historically just won a shit ton of games.

I'm not even sure how to verify that number unless you're counting up wins by hand?

Even at #10, it still places us in the elite category post 1906.

Nice suspensions, Buckeyes. Dirt program.
I'd rather they be suspended instead of letting them get away with sexual assault in their freshman year and waiting until the final 2 games of their senior year to be suspended.

But that's just me. I could be wrong.
