Hey Packer Fans...Should McCarthy take the play calling back?

Do you think that's an issue or is it just a product of the lack of receivers?

Jordy missing hurts more then expected and Lacey not doing much put more def focus on the pass game.

For a divisional rival that is clearly trolling he sure spends a lot of time thinking about the Packers.

The team is fractured at the moment.

This same type of offensive slump happened a couple years ago and a couple years before that under McCarthy. Giving the play calling back to McCarthy would only fracture the team more.

The offensive line is playing the worst we've seen in a couple years - when they were relying on Marshall Newhouse to protect Rodgers. Rodgers has been more out of synch with his receivers than we've seen in a couple years - partly because of the O-line, partly because of the carousel of injuries at receiver.

Play calling does take some responsibility, but mainly because there are no quick checkdowns for Rodgers to get rid of the ball to when someone whiffs on a block like we saw several times yesterday - everyone seems to be running deep routes.

And speaking of deep routes, Rodgers is trying to go 10-30 yards on every play and he's getting himself into some of this trouble.

All that said, this was two losses on the road against undefeated teams while at the peak of their discombobulation. A date with the Lions in Lambeau this Sunday should help get them back on track.

You aren't going to win a lot of games giving up 37 points.

I dont think McCarthy calling plays will help the O line block better, the D getting pressure on the QB. A D that was #2 in sacks through 6 games and now has 0 in the last 2 games. There are problems throughout the team that are far greater than play calling

The issue the last 3 games hasn't been their offense, it's been the defense. Prior to Rivers' 500+ yard game they were considered one of the best in the league. Since then they've been pretty well destroyed.

If Rodgers was as good as Brady they'd be fine right now.

When was the last time Brady played back to back undefeated teams on the road this late in the season? My guess is never.
