It has dawned on me that many of you do not know the proper history of our board warrior here.
I was able to patch the last few pieces of my research into the ROKN and have added it to a book to be published later this year. To bring some of you more up to speed I'll post a few brief excerpts from it so those of you confused can otherwise make some sense of it all. I'll break them up into different posts to save space.

There are a few known or suspected secret societies. Some you have likely heard of many such as the skull and bones, 33 degree Masons, and the Illuminati. There is one I suspect most of you have not heard of, but I bet you have ran into some of their suspected members. So far we have only limited data on them and do not know what they call themselves. We will attempt to bring you as up to speed on them as we can.
We do know they derive some power from something we are calling the ROKN: The Rings of Knowledge Network. There are a few BOK, or Bearers of knowledge, that are around to give us clues into how it all works. If you are willing to pay close enough attention you can look behind the veil.
As near as we can tell the ROKN is bestowed on clubs that have won prior super bowls. There are levels that are based on how many they have won. It would appear that only winning one or two does not grant enough strength of the signal from the ring network for that team for average fans to tap into it. In fact even at higher levels there is some thought that you might need special equipment to get into that network. We do know that there is something about level 5. As soon as there are this many rings and that many trophies (each Lombardi acts as an antenna of some sort, each giving farther and farther distance to the network) more of these BOK appear to pop up.
