Doesn't happen so much. The NFL is 4th in my sports pecking order, and I've pulled for the Broncos since I was 7 when I won one of those Super Bowl squares my dad bought me. Thought I was rich at the time. And ever since Mike Vick was sent to the pokey, I've pulled for the Falcons any time they're not playing Denver.

The Braves and Georgia are my two biggest loves, and I doubt you'll find any two team combo fan that has been more tortured.

Uh, hello. Texas Rangers and Aggies!

At least the Rangers have made a couple World Series runs in the last 5 or so years. Braves haven't won a playoff series since 2001. And I was born in 91, so I was too young to really enjoy the success of the 90's.

I'll give you A&M though. Really, a lot of similarities between A&M and Georgia, except there have been more years where Georgia had higher expectations.

yes, and one of those world series has got to rank near the top in nut punches for the losing team. Down to one out TWICE and couldn't seal the deal. At least the Mavs finally won one.

That was one of the best World Series of all time. I know it's not any consolation. People say the same thing about the 91 World Series, but the Braves still lost.

The Hawks could win the NBA championship and I'd probably learn about from a thread title on SportsHoopla's main page.

I don't know anything about the NBA, so I won't attempt to dispute, but have the Cardinals won a playoff round since 2001?

It's easy to kick someone when their down. i certainly took a couple of jabs yesterday during the game.

With that, I will say something unbiased (as a Cowboy hater) about the Cowboys. Dak showed me a lot yesterday. To fall behind by that much and bring the team back speaks volumes about the young man in my mind.

I think the Cowboys have a bright future with Dak at QB. I hope I'm wrong. :suds:

They were in the NFCCG last year. They were in the SB in 2008. I think you meant Dbacks and the answer to that question would be... No!

So the Braves and Dbacks have a lot in common... Except the last postseason series the Dbacks won was a World Series.

LOL @ retards that think the Packers were the only team in the NFC that truly deserved to make the playoffs.

Funny thing about these threads is if your team don't win a superbowl then you still look like a clown. There can only be one winner so unless the Falcons win the SB, they'll be one of 31 losers this year just like the Cowboys

I AM a fan of the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs and Kevin Harvick.

I WAS a fan of Dale Earnhardt. Dude's dead now though and sports figures aren't like musicians.

I PULL for the Denver Broncos and I PULL for the Atlanta Falcons as long as they're not playing the Denver Broncos.

There's no college football or baseball going on, so the NFL threads are the only place I can talk shit. I did the same thing last year when Denver went on their run.

No. Dale Earnhardt drove number 3. Kevin Harvick did replace Dale Earnhardt after his death, but the car's number was changed to 29. He drove the 29 for 13 years before he started driving for Tony Stewart's team in the 4 car.

The number 3 wasn't in NASCAR from the 2001 Daytona 500 until 2015 when Richard Childress(Dale Earnhardt's car owner)'s grandson, Austin Dillon made his way into the Cup Series.

I hate bullshit arguments like this. The Falcons and Cowboys didn't play each other this year. Had they played, it would've been a good game. But to say your team is better because you won one more game? Come on. Win two more games and you can brag. For now realize this argument carries as much weight:

Browns beat the Chargers, Chargers beat the Falcons (in your house), so the Browns are better than the Falcons.

Sounds just about as stupid.
