The Bruins rookies are in Long Island to play the Islanders rookies. Other than Doug Hamilton & Knight who do you expect big things from at camp this year?

Dodero and Cantin are pretty good agitators, I hear from the brief scrimmage Saturday. But who do I think is going to make a splash? Spooner. He has some nice speed and great puckhandling.

I really don't know what to expect from the Isles kids. All of their college kids aren't playing. So that means guys like Brock Nelson, Scott Mayfield, Anders Lee & a few others won't be their.

That being said Niederreiter, Kabanov, Calvin De Haan, Matt Donovan & Hamilton's teammate with Niagara Ryan Strome will be in the lineup. One kid that I'm expecting big things from who's a bit under the radar is D Andrei Pedan. He was a 3rd round pick in 2011. He's 6'4 & has all the tools. Plus he's from Lithuania. The last guy the Isles picked from Lithuania turned out to be really fun to watch.

Mikko Koskinen will be in goal for the Islanders & is expected to play the entire game. He's 6'5 from Finland.

lol... The Phins are capable. I just hope with the acqusition of a back that can run the outside of the field Henne is more comfortable throwing and handing off. He threw way too many interceptions last year.

Well the Bruins won 8-5. This game wasn't open to the public for some reason. The game tomorrow night will be. Mikko Koskinsucks was the reason the Isles lost. He gave up 5 goals on the first 12 shots & just continued to get worse. Fortunately they can put him in the ECHL next season. At least that's where I'd put him.

On the Isles fan site one fan said the empty net made a better save than Mikko did.:
