Haha.. close. He lives in a hotel downtown, by the arena. Because he doesn't know whether he should rent/buy a place yet since he doesn't know if he's sticking with the team.

And he has to bum rides from teammates because he's too young to rent a car and he hasn't bought one yet for the same reason he doesn't have a place.

I say buy a damn car and go live with Havlat since he's on the payroll for $5M a year or whatever just to be your translator!

I was one of the people that blamed Torts for everything that went wrong with the Rangers last season, but now it's obvious that it wasn't Torts it was the team. Without their strategy of collapsing in front of their net and blocking shots, the Rangers look rather hopeless on defense, and even their goaltending appears to be mediocre at best right now. Not saying they can't improve, but playing a wide open style doesn't seem to suit them very well.

Yeah, he should befriend someone from the Czech Republic for translation. If I were him, I would've answered all the post game questions from last night in Czech.

but yah ... I think it may become clear that Torts helped the Rags punch above their weight ... not necessarily because of systems play (because Vigneault plays a passive forecheck) but because of the ability to motivate as a coach
