That shithouse city looks for reasons to riot.

Hell, if the Dodgers or Lakers lose a playoff series, that city will riot. If they jumped town, God help the City of Angles.

Good thing I live far away if that happens.

In a twisted turned of fate, the Lakers have announced they will move back to Minnesota where it's name will make a whole lot more sense.

Yes,they probably have more right angles than any city other than new york.
I use to belong to cult that didn't believe in right angles. After going to a church with no chairs and no walls for a while, you tend to get annoyed and just leave

The blues and Cardinals just got super excited.

Indeed. St Louis is a Cardinals town.

If you've ever flown in the Midwest during baseball playoffs season- airports filled with people wearing Cardinals gear. I mean, a LOT OF THEM.

Never saw much Rams gear wearing folk, tho the radio in the city has a lot of talk about the Rams. I'm sure it will hurt to lose them.

Why they will still be in the same division and also the same time zone and travel time reduced

True ... Bummer for St Louis fans though... They always seemed like a good football town... The Lombardi trophy the team won should stay in St Louis if they should move... Can't take that away ...

LA doesn't care about football so it's not like it will matter. The biggest support football ever had for LA teams was the gangs with the Raiders and celebrities with the Trojans. UCLA can't even get enough fan support to move out of the dump of a stadium in the Rose Bowl, Rams didn't have fans. They'll get a state of the art stadium and within a year it's only attraction that will set out will be concerts.

Meanwhile, the Chargers are shooting down every proposal San Diego is throwing at them. The Rams may get an instant boost in fanbase soley due to disgruntled Charger fans. The Charger fanbase is starting to erode at the first sign of them bailing and it's not like they supported them very well in the first place.

The Rams are a team on the rise from a talent and coaching standpoint... meanwhile, the Spanos operation is on a trajectory for everlasting mediocrity.

If the Chargers go to LA, I don't see a happy ending for them there.

Who cares. What's more important is the Rams bringing back those snazzy blue and yellow unis. Fuck gold

The rivalry between the fans will be missed. Getting rid of a 1pm game though is nice.

But you'll have the Angles/Mariners rivaly, the Rams/Seahawks rivaly, and the Lakers/Soni...... oops never mind.

So wrong...lol! I don't even know if the Mariners have a rival anymore. Haven't had a good product hit the field since what, 2002?

I agree, but I don't know if it is much different in STL. The Rams are definitely behind the Cardinals and the Blues, not so sure about Mizzou
In terms of ratings, the Rams are definitely in 2nd place because even a bad NFL team is still pulling NFL weight. Merchandise they're probably in third and maybe even a distant third just because they never win and there are still a lot of NFL Cardinal fans. No joke. Only team STL would accept back if Kroenke gets his way.

I disagree, Scoob. LA does not not need NFL. The opposite of bandwagoners....

Yep, it's not that LA is bandwagoneers, it's just that there's too much to do if the team constantly put garbage on the field. The right word is front runners, give them a quality team that can compete and the fans will be there. There is still a large number of Ram fans in LA and it's surrounding area.
