Just when the Titans were looking like the potential AFC Super Bowl team.

Damn that blows. Lisfranc injury or a break of some sort?

He was evaluated in the first half of the game for whatever injury this is. And still returned to finish the game. I doubt this puts him on the shelf for the rest of the year.

Is this the beginning of the end for Henry? It's amazing how he has stayed healthy for the majority of his career after the workload from high school to the NFL. I don't think we can say that yet bc I still think he is the AP type of RB but this is a cause for concern.

You have to wonder if his super high usage will wear him down eventually. Foot injuries are no joke especially for bigger guys. We'll have to see what the details are and whether it is the dreaded Lisfranc injury.

Intelligent post, and I agree.

He's only 27, but the wear and tear a body of a RB like him takes, especially with his style, is insane. He'll be 28 at the end of the season so he's got at BEST another 2 years left in him with the way he runs and how often the Titans use him.

I don't think this changes as much as people think except some dumb team like the Chiefs probably won't stack the box in some caveman attempt to stop the run. PA still works, Henry or no Henry. Julio Jones and AJ Brown are still great options to throw to. Any kind of defense at all and good health gives the Titans a shot to get a very nice seed with how the wins they've collected already.

With that being said as the resident Titans apologist: I won't be shocked when and if they go one and done.

But then like I mentioned, he is a freak like AP but even he started to wear down after injuries and you could tell. I hope when he returns he turns back to form but no way to say at this point.

The thing is that all teams probably were going to stack the box as an overreaction to the Titans Bills game.

Titans could be anything this year once they hit the playoffs. Henry and Jones if healthy and paired with Brown and Tannehills mobility is pretty darn unstoppable. One of the reasons I wasnt high on this team at the start of the season was that I didnt think Henry and Jones would make it 20+ games to win it all. Its always a juggling act keeping everyone healthy to make the playoffs. Titans making the playoffs always ran through Henry and thats playing with fire.

Brutal. He was going to have the all time great RB season. Might be the beginning of the end for him.
