Helu first to break 300 in all of college football this year

Nebraska's Roy Helu Jr. became the first player in the country to rush for over 300 yards in a game this season. Helu finished with 307 yards to record the first 300-yard rushing game in school history, breaking the previous school record of 294 yards in a game by Calvin Jones in 1991. Helu had 3 riushing TDs of 50-plus yards, becoming only the third player in the last five seasons to do so.
