dean care to contact him ?

There is the issue right there the last sentence "youve got a guy in Heinicke that is winning games"". totally false that TH is totally responsible for winning games. Did you read those responses to that tweet. Sounds like our message board. lol

Wow. The guy never said TH was totally responsible. Is that what it is like to live in your head?

TH is literally winning games, as is everybody else on the field over the last six games. Everybody on the team is 7-5. The team is 2-4 under CW. The team is 5-1 under TH.

Words have meanings.

But 900 post arguments are fun :pound:
I know, I am spoil sport.

In 10+ years I have been on the forum old dean is often misguided but has yet to change his mind.

This would not surprise me one bit if RR started Wentz later on he ends up having a poor game and knocks us out of the playoffs wouldn't that be some shit

Personally I would like to see 10 wins and I don't care who the QB is. I love defensive football. I hope they continue to play the way they are. I don't mind TH and his role. He has gotten lucky a few times but so has the D. Part of winning is luck, recovering a fumble when it should have been a facemask penalty .... ref taking a defender out (not a winning moment) .... jump ball for a TD ... getting an interception late which saved the kickers ass.

As I said before I think they should stick with TH as the starter ... for now and maybe for at least two more games. If he has back to back bad games then I would understand a move. Back to back bad games likely means 7-7 and 1-4 in the division and 4-6 in the conference. If that happens maybe I give him one more game and if they are not in position to win lets see what Howell does for one or two games.

One thing I have wondered about is TH running the ball. Most think he has been doing that but not true. As I mentioned in an earlier post he has less running yards than Wentz. I think we all believe Heinicke would have more rushing yards. Do you think he has been told not to run? Are the protecting him because he is smaller? Do they want him to use his feet enough to avoid sacks but still look downfield?

It is a good year to be the kind of QB TH is. Passing is down this year. December is a good month to play good D and run the ball.

He's right. You have to allow him to play his way off the field, which he hasn't done yet. What RG3 is saying is, if they draft a QB in the 1st, as soon as he struggles, the fans and the players (quietly) will be asking for TH to be on the field.

Heinicke is a FA and is the perfect backup, but in a sense he's the worst backup you can have because any one you bring in here will be constantly looking over their shoulder.

I think we need to know the fans better , they love Falco because wince didn’t deliver as advertised

We loved Heinicke before Wentz even got here. Same reason some had a love affair with Gus Frerotte. Everyone loves an underdog that plays with his hair on fire.

I'm not a Heinicke hater. I was one of the few that said we should give him the ball when 80% of the board wanted to go straight to Howell.

I'm just enjoying the ride.

i agree with this

I believe Garcia had a better arm, if I’m not mistaken. By better, I mean that I believe Garcia could keep defenses honest by throwing deep with some success, consistently.
