The last sentence is key. I've always believed Heinicke was going to have to play his way off the field. Hasn't done that yet. You can't bench him right now, but if he throws up a stinker in a loss, things could change.

but think about this what if the 2023 2nd round pick didn't exist for the 70% of the snaps? Would Wentz be playing against ATL? I can understand why TH would get the start against ATL to protect the 2nd round pick on a winnable game. If Wentz starts the Giants game the 2nd round pick in 2023 wouldn't happen. Wentz isn't ready today regardless so there is no decision to be made right now.

This has nothing to do with the 2nd pick imo. This is all about the locker room truning on Ron if he benches Heinicke after a win and winning three of four.

this week or next week is not really a question b/c of the Wentz injury and winnable opponents. The Giants game is going to be interesting. Th throws 3 picks against Hou or Atl, the love goes right out the window. lol. Hey here hoping he does well today. Huge opportunity for him to dominate this game. Let's hope he takes advantage.

Then Explain Week 1 after CW threw 2 ints and came back and won? I will give you pocket awareness but again he wasn't getting protected well like TH. It's a moot issue now. TH is likely to be the starter next week unless he gets hurt today or really stinks it up.
