Maybe they plan to hire Witten and make Schottenheimer OC? Ridiculous. Why bother hiring a new coach if he can't bring in his own staff? Might as well have kept Mac

This is all part of Jerry's world. He craves attention and lots of it. Even negative attention will do for him. It's like rinse and repeat. He been hiring coaches this way ever since Jimmy left. there is always one coordinator remaining from the previous staff. Or he hires an OC first and then the HC. At what point does he not look in the damn mirror and say "hey, this is not working"?

I kind of feel like he got a shit ton of credit mostly because the overrated Vikings Offense came back to earth IN WEEK 17 a little against Detroit AND for some reason he got a ton of credit because his players got injured (and yes there were a ton of injuries as we allknow) but the Cowboys lost possibly the best defensive player in the NFL, two All Pro CBs, a Pro Bowl DE and their second best pass rusher (before the season even started) and every other team has tons of injuries as well.

I really liked Glenn as a player and now as a coach and think he is a good leader, but I agree with you that I think somewhere along the way he became a little too overrated. If they didn’t get great safety play out of nowhere how good would the defense have held up? Was that safety play because of Glenn? I’m not sure. The Lions also were usually beating the crap out of teams as Dallas of course knows and it’s a lot easier to play defense when you are way up.

We lost all that and went 7-10. They lost just as much and went 15-2
