Well I hope you have a old Chevy LUV with 500k on it

And I still hope u r WRONG!
Haha, oh me too. This team is desperate for a strong voice and fresh ideas. But for Jerry to hire Moore, maybe keep Zim, keep Schottenheimer, add Witten...that's such a Jerry hire

The only positive in that is Witten for someone someday and Zim is a good coach IMO the rest is 5 day old fish outside in July
IMO
but you are correct that’s a Classic Jerry move

I still think Glenn would be a good HC. That defense was missing a lot of key players, including their best player.

So all Cowboys coaches need to do to get to the NFC championship game is leave Dallas and go to a division rival? Jerrah’s incompetence now showing. All NFC teams have made the conference championship since 2010 except your Dallas Cowboys and the last time they made it was the 1995 season. As a former beat writer for the Cowboys use to say, let that marinate for a moment. Complete incompetency from a general manager.

These aholes already let probably the best candidate go to to NE and did not even try

Out of these 5 or 6 remaining "realistic" candidates I happen to like Deion the best. He would be respected by the players. He is like one of greatest players of all time.

Saleh just did not get it done in NY..horrible record there as HC. Did he ever have control of that team?. He may be a great DC,but he sucked as HC

Anthony Lynn? Are you kidding me?

Kellen Moore? Moore is just a clip board holder. He almost lost the eagles two playoff games already. No thanks . If Barkley pulls a hammy they are done.

Kliff Klingsbury? Again he sucked in AZ as HC. This matters to me.

So as of right now, the betting favorite to be the next Head Coach is...Brian Schottenheimer. After that, Kellen Moore. What are we doing guys? What are we doing?

Jerry will play this out for the attention.
No question at all. He will probably drag this shit out till Super Bowl week so he can garner max attention. Meanwhile, we have an entire scouting department scouting college players across tye country with no clue as to what system their next HC/OC/DC will run. Does a TJ Watt type player head to the top of your board if you're running an odd front or do you rank him lower because you aren't looking for stand up LB's? Do you scout for zone scheme offensive linemen or road graders? We are falling farther behind by the day as the circus music plays on

This is why you got to figure this HC crap out sooner than later. I guess if the choice is between Moore and Shottenhemer then give me Shottenhemer. Shottenhemer does have a history of running the ball. Moore just don't want to run the ball no matter the circumstance. We saw this last night. Dude got pass happy and it gave the Rams a chance to win.

Cowboys got serious choices to make. If Jeanty is there at 12 I think they must draft him. Jeanty would excell in any type of running scheme. The vision and balance he shows is elite.

I see a guy like Savion Williams possibly being there in round two. Intriguing player.

Dak has Lamb and that is it. Williams I would use like the Niners use Deeboo.

Why limit scheme versatility to just the OL and DL? If you wanted to install a less predictable offensive scheme you need guys like Savion Williams. This team has basically run the same offensive plays for the past 30 years. It's stale AF.

Williams is a Heck of a fun player.
We are in such bad shape roster wise. Ive seen mocks where guys traded gown multiple times and ended up with 5-6 players and still count hit all the holes. A GREAT draft would net you 3 starters, a couple of rotation guys and a couple more roster guys. You are never getting 5-6 starters out of a draft(especially when you give away an early 4th). If we let 5-6 starter/backups walk again and only use the draft to replace them, we won't get to the 7 wins we had this season

Bones Fassel to the Titans. He won't be missed by me. It does give me some pause as to whether they will come hard after Turpin this year and Aubrey next year though

Jerry is pretty predictable. I think his moves are the ones he feels strongest about. Kellen Moore will likely be our HC. We interviewed 3 guys. Two Rooney rule guys and Moore. I’m not even sure we will interview anyone else seriously. We may just so Jerry can drag it out and get a chance to measure the feedback from the media and fan base which we all know he is too sensitive to, But I think he decided 5 years ago that Moore was his future HC. The other option is that he already quietly interviewed Zimmer, but I’m not sure Zimmer will bow down to him like McCarthy did Or Moore will so that probably rules him out.

Jerry and Stephen have hung their hat on at least winning regular season games the last 20 years, but when you stop and think about it, how much of even that is due to blind luck. They had an undrafted QB play at a near HOF level for 12 years...if they had a clue that he was anything close to that, they would have drafted him. Then they hit on a Pro Bowl QB with a 4th round pick. Same thing. So they had 2 different 4 year windows followed by a few years that they paid their guys but their money had not kicked in....so great QB play for next to peanuts for 12 of the 20 years. And zero playoff success ever. Dak has played with a HOF LT, a HOF Guard, a would have been HOF Center, a Pro Bowl WR, the best RB in the game for a 3-4 year period, and now a HOF receiver. His current defense has had a HOF player and several pro powler/all pro's. Now that really good QB is 32 and coming off his second season ending leg injury, and about to start his $240M deal. And they expect this playoff success to come with a gutted roster and far less talent around him than he has ever had, and a HC that no other team in the league is seriously considering. And Stephen already saying FA is going to be "tight", when half the 7-10 roster are FA's. While two other NFCE teams are playing in the NFCCG. Have things ever looked more bleak since Jerry bought the team and went 1-15?
