i could get behind Saleh coupled with the right OC
I think the problem we can see at OC is if we landed a good one. It would have to be a fresh face (which we kinda suck at) to be a new OC. That would be awesome.
Not some retread. If we go retread, which we have a history of. I think we will be wearing sad faces.

So I am hoping we guess correctly on that new guy.

everyone’s top candidate is Ben Johnson. Well, not everyone’s…

ESPN’s Adam Schefter said he does not expect Lions OC Ben Johnson “to be in play” for the Cowboys’ head coaching vacancy.
Schefter also said that he thinks both Johnson and Jerry Jones have “other ideas” for this offseason’s hiring cycle. Schefter then refocused the conversation on the Raiders and Bears, saying “I know everybody’s got Ben Johnson anointed to the Raiders... I’m not in that camp right now. Why is everybody ignoring Chicago?” Schefter carefully added that Johnson could still end up as the Raiders’ new head coach but highlighted the AFC West’s highly competitive nature and the Raiders’ undesirable quarterback situation. The NFC North is certainly not a soft division but the Bears do have the requisite skill position players to hit the ground running in 2025.

That's why im worried that its gonna be Kellen Moore, probably bring back Zim, which is fine, probably elevate Schottenheimer to OC which again, is fine(Moore would call his own plays. Problem is, it doesn't sound like Moore is a big time leader of men, there won't be a culture change from club Jerry, and we will still be running the same tired stuff we have ran forever

I am leaning Glenn. Not a big fan of Moore being HC.

moore just doesn't do it for me.
Not for me as well. But it would be so Jerry. I will deal with whoever they pick. I have low expectations for this organization.

That was a Green Bay game performance by the Detroit defense. Horrible.
That's going to be a pretty raw topic for Glenn to try and explain in the next week or so during his interviews...assuming he still has any...

I know this is right.

LOL, easier for Jerry. You know, cash considerations, Glenn is now cheaper than Moore.

onward!
I know they had injuries, but his scheme was stubborn just like Quinn's last year against Green Bay. No thanks on Glenn.

Kellen is a smart guy and I think will make an excellent head coach in 3-5 years after more experience and another organization stop. This organization needs a Jimmy Johnson type hire for Jerry to make his final push and get that last ring he so desperately wants. Now who that guy is ……. I don’t have a clue but it’s not Kellen Moore IMO. And just for the Record I don’t think it’s Deion Sanders either.
Witten should get hired as an assistant on the offense of some kind if ole Jerry wants to gI’ve him NFL experience I would have no problem with that. If I recall correctly Jason‘s Dad was a coach so he knows the ins and out’s of the coaching game But not at the NFL level on the other side of the uniform.

After 3 decades of stability in the HC ranks Since 1989 Ole Jerry has fired 9 in 35 years. Tom made his SB bones B4 Jerry took over. Parcells made his in NY and Only Jimmy made his SB bones while coaching the Boys. NO I am not giving credit to Barry that was Jimmys team Barry was caretaker at best IMHO.
At a roughly 4.37 year average tenure leaving Tom out of the mix Jerry’s not exactly hitting home runs on a long term coach and only 12.5% of the coaches in getting to the Super Bowl 3 decades ago!

Let’s see what kind of rabbit ole Jerrah pulls out of his A.. I mean hat this go around.
