Sackataters, at least it wasn't five years at the max? Or is your objection about him signing with someone else to get that money? Would you have been okay if Jazz management had valued him at the max for 4-5 years? I know that you don't think he is worth that much, but would you have been okay if the Jazz felt that way (got him for the max without Charlotte being involved)?

It's not my money, so I am not losing sleep over it. It would be one thing if he was a leader, to over pay. But the kid is a pouty sour puss. It's on him, if he performs up to the contract, then I'm happy. If he doesn't then he has placed a target on himself that will end poorly. Jazz nation will blame him for all that goes wrong.
