No, but I am pleased that this team finally put one together at the right time. Penalties, special teams, defense, turnovers etc. We can be proud of these Huskers (and the coaches) for the way they performed in the Gator Bowl.

It was a good bowl made my new years day old boss was a uga fan.

but I'm not sold yet that the staff will get all it can from the talent we have.

The most I've been stoked was the Gator bowl and holiday bowl games. talent is there is the hunger desire and refusal to accept mediocrity there?? when I see msu defense I see a bunch of angry passed over kids.

"take all that they said you can't or won't do and let it fuel you with hate so that you can prove them wrong" I wanna see that fire that the 09 defense had.

We won--I was glad for the team--but a rematch bowl game doesn't make me warm and fuzzy for next year. IF (and a big one at that) we have four solid wins to start offf next year I will once again start getting my hopes up. Till then, I won't expend too much energy about the team after being burned for a handful of years now. For now, same shit different year.

I realize the secondary and offensive line will be once again a youth movement and that puts a cold slap of reality into my face. I hope next season will better 9 wins, but the Huskers will need to be in reload mode to get it done. Are we there yet? Doubtful!

Man, was thinking about that game last night. Had to be one of the most dominating bowl win by any team??

I remain in position that team will again average to above average next year, 2-3 loses. It just seems unlikely that they can run table or have 1 lose.

After the Gator Bowl I felt like we had a team that could find a way to win......but the losses to Oklahoma and Missouri that season still weighed too heavily in my mind.

After the 2009 season and then with the way things started in 2010 for us, I literally thought Bo was a miracle worker.........

Then we played Texas again.
