As bad as the B1G is sposed-ta be this year, they might be just fine when they get into conference play.

If you're a Mich football fan, it's your turn to suffer, and the suffering will make you a better fan.

And if Michigan ends up beating Ohio State, then what does that says about your level of "suckitude?"

That simply isn't going to happen. Wishful thinking though.

Hush and go put out your fire. :D

Lots of dumpster fires to be put out right now in the B1G.

Michigan
Iowa
Ohio State
Purdue
Michigan State
Wisconsin

But at least Indiana (???) is carrying the hose for the B1G

Ummmmmm, so?

You do realize you are using UNC as defense? Not saying that Michigan would do good against ECU, but saying they are good because they beat UNC, which has been all hype the past couple of years, but really haven't done anything of note. They are a basketball school (which Michigan very might turn into one :L)

Carolina: plays in a power conference (ACC)

E. Carolina: doesn't play in a power conference (American)

I was going more with the avatar and signature bets you have lost to yourself. But I'm lazy and didn't clarify.

The only bet I've lost is an avi bet after the MSU game last year. This new one is of my own creation.

What do these guys have to do to get some respect? Besides play in a P5?

ECU is a very good team. I did not say they were better than Oregon, did not say they would win the SEC West or the Big Xii, did not even say they would finish no worse than 3rd in the B1G, just saying: they are a very good team. They will probably not go undefeated, even in their mediocre conference (and how many teams in ANY conference will be able to say that at the end of the year?), but I respect what they'd done to open the season.

Pirates are my favorite Carolinas team...

except, mebbe, Clemson (who I've had a soft spot for ever since Charlie Bauman got slugged by Woody Hayes.)

yes they are...
considering the school is in a buggy little town on the shores of nowhere; that they go through coaches like the changing of the tides; that they're relegated as an afterthought/last option during recruiting...
it's amazing that ECU -despite all that nonsense- occasionally does its rabid, adoring & loyal fanbase a sticky season or two.

I can't see any good leaving him in the position does? If the coach is replaced now, it gives us time to hopefully not waste a recruiting class. He doesn't needto take over right away, but at least knowing who it will be could help a lot.

The problem is replace with who? There are not many top coaches that will start mid/early of an already started season. I would agree that the AD should start the search now but unless they get that big name to say I will come in now, then you do not take him out.

If Michigan loses this game in this fashion, Hoke is gone.
It might not take until Monday.

We did fire Gary Moeller for drunk driving and promoted Lloyd mid season. Then lloyd took over the next year.
