This is where we see how a young player handles adversity. He handled success well last year but now that just doesn't matter. This is a win now or else league. Losing key recievers and not having any deep threat hurts for sure but the kid has "happy feet" right now. We will find out in the next few weeks how his smarts are. The 49ers need to get the running game going. That is and has been their bread & butter the last couple years when they had success. I think the coaching staff, fans and Kaep himself forgot that with all the aerial success of week 1. Now they have been brought back to earth. Honestly, let's see what happens for the first half of the season. Even if they don't turn it around against the Rams, they could rattle off some wins and be 5-3 by mid-season and start a second half run. They definitely need to get healthy and adjust because every team they face has seen this and is drawing up the game plan. Kaep will have to learn how to just take what's there and the big arm and legs won't help that much. It's all between the ears right now.

I think SF suffered a bit of a hangover from the seattle game. That was such a highly anticipated game and they got destroyed, definately struggled to get up for indy. Plus indy is a pretty darn good team.

It doesn't get easier for SF, Road thursday night game vs stl who owned them last year.

This may have been mentioned but Kap is still talented I think he is missing the mental toughness. Everything is fine and dandy when things are going his way and then Seattle happened and it shook him up he needs to collect himself and start performing again.

Luck didn't sling it around, but I thought he played very well. Pagano doesn't want a volume passing game, he wants something similar to the way that Russell Wilson is used, as a distributor rather than playmaker. He's still a natural playmaker so if he just makes good decisions, good things will happen..... Like beating the niners by 20 on the road!!!
