Congrats to RNH and his bank account.

I guess I am looking at it based on what motivates me. And money isn't it. That's all I am saying. Long term prospects for a fulfilling career would be much more important. And given the choice by year 3 between having my girlfriend's dog drink out of the cup and getting paid better in the short term to sit in a dumpster fire...

And that was just one draft year. If I was Teuvu Teravainen or Olli Maata, no way I'd trade places with Yak. Is Erik Johnson better off than Claude Giroux? I'd probably rather be in Tarasenko's shoes than Taylor Hall's also.

Nothing against the guys chasing money. But I'd be looking for more.

Why did you mention their 832K salaries at all then?

Because earlier in the thread someone mentioned that ELCs are based on draft position. I assumed it meant salary alone and wasn't thinking bonuses.

Although, I should have. And it seems weird to me that a guy can make more bonuses for scoring on a team that plays no defense than a guy who wins 2 cups...

lol - I think the lad from Scottsdale wants to play for his hometown team and the way the Coyotes are playing lately, they're doing their best to make it happen.

buffalo vancouver and zona all have only 8 points from their last 10 games ... Sedins needs to have an unfortunate steam room accident at the Scandinave spa during the xmas break

Wouldn't a more precise tank be trading them?

i know in the offseason they (well ... daniel) said if the team approached them and asked them to waive the ntc's they would consider ... but they also said they thought the team (with them on it) could have another run in 2 years if the young guys step up and become THE primary players

i think if the team said ... hey guys, can you shut it down for the rest of the year ... theyd do that lol ... they did it under torts

/btw ... nice to hear theres an actual market for vrbata
