Schlabach has Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl. Really??!!??
NCAA College Football BCS Bowl Projections - Preseason - ESPN

Kelly is a decent corch and all but there ain't gonna be a 5-6 loss team in the Orange Bowl.

Purdue may well bite them in Game 1 but I've got ND losing three in a row to Stanford, BC, and Pitt, with losses to Navy, Utah, and SoCal on down the schedule. So if they escape Purdue, they might get bowl eligible.

I see at least 4 losses. Stanford, USC, Pitt and Utah.

ND could have easily been a 1-2 loss or possibly even undefeated team last season they played with everyone.

Their defense returns mostly everyone who matters and i see them winning 10 games due to big play making on defense and genius play calling and time management with Kelly running the offense.

Orange bowl is very likely.

We will see. Who is the starting QB right now? I haven't heard much about ND in a while.

Dayn Crist another big time recruit reeled in my Weis. He's much more mobile then Clausen was and has about the same arm. We'll see how Kelly uses him. But their recieving core is just stacked, still the best in the country along with Rudolf at tight end, and loads experience in the back field. This team should be finishing in the top 10-15 with their schedule.

Man... SOS looks pretty low. I'm too lazy to look up the pre-season ranks, but I would say that ND shouldn't have more than 2 losses if they want to make a decent bowl appearance.

I see 5-7-1 for them but they could possibly beat Michigan State to reach a bowl game other than that unless BC fails to live up to the hype or USC has an utter collapse I don't see much more that they could do.
