that will really irritate me if it does.. if not making the playoffs disqualifies people like it seems to, only playing half the season should too

I just think it's kinda funny that the Hawks were putting together a statistical season that was matching the 76-77 Habs and the only player that's currently up for a major award is Saad for the Calder.

I completely agree but it is pretty clear that Crosby is a favorite of the league. Im not saying he isnt talent because he is immensely talented but definitely gets the benefit more than he should and the Hart this year will probably be another example of that.

I woukd rank them as follows:

#2 OV
#3 Crosby

however if I am not limited to finalists I would rank like this:

#1 Tavares
#2 St. Louis
#3 OV
#4 Toews
#5 Crosby

this is solely for him missing a good potion of the season. If he played all year he would have been a slam dunk for most awards this year.

I might swap OV and Marty, just because OV really carried the whole team out of the slump, but it a very small matter of degrees there. I'd agree with this assessment.

I gave the nod to St. Louis because of his consistency and production over the whole season. Goaltending is the only reason the Bolts missed the playoffs IMO. Their offense is really solid. Granted their defense was pretty terrible.
