Here's HB doing his thing in team USA

There was a point last year where HB wouldn't drive left.

More Barnes love

Now the big question is, what will he add to his game this offseason?

1) More pump fakes around the rim?
2) Getting more contact / getting to the FT line
3) Mid Range game
4) Creating with dribble for teammates
5) Ball handling
6) Defense

HB had a nice rookie year, but I believe he has potential for much more.

I'm really hoping for 2, 3 & 5 because they all sort of rely on each other. If Barnes is going to be a super sub, he's going to play multiple positions and have to take advantage of whoever is guarding him. If he's got a big, he'll need the handles and ability to take the ball to the rim, draw contact and finish. If he's got a smaller man guarding him, a one dribble mid-range shot should be there every time.

Based on his stellar playoff performance at power forward and his middling regular season at small forward, I would like to see Barnes work on getting bigger and stronger so that he is fully prepared for his minutes at power forward this year.

Barnes' future might be as a replacement for Lee and not at small forward, although that will depend on to what degree we continue to see the trend of team's downsizing their lineups in favor of skilled players continue or abate.

Everything I've heard and read says that he's put on some serious muscle. He'll probably fill in at the 3 and 4 all season long. It's going to be interesting to see how it plays out.

21 / 22 year old?

He from the Dominican or something?

Seems wise above his years.
