Won't happen. The roads are too shitty in MI that Jim Harbaugh can't get to work.

So they're projecting them to finish in the mid 30's in the country. Which would probably put them at 7-5.
Not really, mid-30's teams are usually 8 win teams. These are the teams that finished 30-39 in the AP poll:
Duke 18, LSU 12, Utah State 11, Arkansas 10, Minnesota 9, Oklahoma 7, Texas A&M 7, Northern Illinois 4, Colorado State 2

Duke: 9-4
LSU: 8-5
Utah St: 10-4
Ark: 7-6
Minn: 8-5
Okla: 8-5
A&M: 8-5
N. Ill: 11-3
Co. St: 10-3

Seems like right around the place I predicted Michigan to land, no? Just like this teams, I suspect Michigan will probably make an appearance in the top 25 poll this year but will probably finish right outside of it. Maybe, if we're lucky, we can crack it towards the end with an upset.

Harbaugh's a good coach and is going to do wonders for Michigan but I doubt very much he eclipses Saban for national titles.

Yeah and Minnesota, LSU and OU all lost their bowl game. Minnesota and LSU were ranked at 8-4. Then lost their bowl. A mid 30's regular season will put Michigan at 7-5. Which is based off of last year's rankings. If Michigan wins their bowl game at 7-5 they will end up in the low 20's, if they lose at that record they won't be in the top 40. Pretty simple.

Here's a great, unbiased, article previewing Michigan from SBNation that illustrates some of what I'm saying:
Jim Harbaugh's almost a sure thing, but Michigan's 2015 could go 2 ways - SBNation.com

Still, Michigan returns virtually everybody else. The Wolverines have one of the deepest sets of run-stuffing linemen in the league, they return four senior linebackers, and they add Stanford transfer Wayne Lyons and safety Jabrill Peppers (a former five-star who missed nine games) to an already experienced secondary.

And they added former Florida defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin while retaining Greg Mattison, now the defensive line coach. They might have lost the heartbeat, but it would be a shock if this wasn't another top-30 defense.

----
On the defensive returning players:

Despite losing Clark and Beyer, Mattison still has plenty of toys. Ends Mario Ojemudia, Taco Charlton, and big Chris Wormley each recorded at least three sacks, as did man-mountain tackle Willie Henry. Michigan has size and proven play-making ability.

The linebacking corps already got some practice without Jake Ryan when he missed part of 2013 with a knee injury. Desmond Morgan was a strong contributor in 2013 but played in only one game last fall before injuring his arm. He was granted a fifth year of eligibility and joins a linebacking corps loaded with seniors. Morgan, Joe Bolden, and James Ross have experience, and while none has matched Ryan, this will be a solid unit.

----

On the secondary:

Stanford's Lyons, once a Harbaugh recruit, ended up in Ann Arbor as a graduate transfer, and a full season of Peppers could be exciting. He played in only three games last year and took a redshirt, but he might already be Michigan's best defensive player ... at least as long as he's well-fed. With Lyons and Peppers joining a unit that was already stocked with experience, it's damn hard to worry about the secondary, too.

I also think people are forgetting that we gain Ty Isaac this year. With Isaac, Green and Smith I have a hard time believing one of them won't present themselves as a solid starting back; especially with what should be a much improved line.

So MnB what say you about the talent at ND going into next year? You seemed to gloss right over that fact. :pound:

I think you're over-hyping your players.

Those actually weren't my opinions. I wouldn't know the first thing about projecting a 21 year old to the next level. Those are where I've seen those guys projected on various sites following the 2015 draft.

You have a link for those projections?

Yeah google.com
That's really not how things work. My assumption is that your stated facts are wrong. It's your duty to prove me wrong. I don't want to sift through thousands of links finding the information you presented to me.
