I thought Michigan only had room for the #1 recruit and two other 4 star kids, why is he cutting the hole in a popcorn bag to get a kicker?

Recruiting sites have said that Michigan expects to have 27 spots but could have more if more 5th year seniors transfer or leave. Michigan lost two players to grad-transfer just yesterday.

Even if we stay at 27, I have no problem with signing the best kicker in the class over another 4 star prospect at another position. I would gladly take a lower class ranking and star ranking to get a kicker like that.

It is a little bit odd that despite being a very important position, kickers are never given 4th and 5th stars. Seems like they should because often times having a great kicker is the difference between a win and a loss -- and MSU almost found that out this year against Michigan.
