JD has been talking about this RH bat he's been trying to acquire for a while now. Wonder who he has in mind?Saw some were saying they thought Delmon Young, could be a possibility. I always enjoy this time of the season with all the rumors and such really swirling. Do we sell, or buy? Additions by subtraction? What gives?

I really got no interest in DY, but then again no one is asking me.

I have no interest in being a buyer, regardless how things go, its a flawed team regardless... if somehow we sneak into a wildcard or division title (doubtful), then we we aren't going far

A RH bat can probably be had pretty cheap if its really determined we need one, of course at this point I'd rather just sit Choo and play Rua in those spots

Nor I. I got a feeling JD is looking at next season. However, if you'd told us at the beginning of the year we'd be within a half dozen games of first place at the ASB, I think we all would've taken that in spades. I just hope the FO doesn't look at us as contenders and make a foolish trade. We're a year away IMO. However, I highly doubt that would happen.

Sack of baseballs and eat 25 million is about the only way, but he's not even hitting well enough for that right now

Praying he gets hot before the Trade Deadline and someone takes him off our hands, I'd be willing to accept a bare minimum return

Alberto is a defensive backup IMO. Not a ML starter.

For now see him as a better defensive player and no worse than Andrus with a bat and a ton less money. I was speaking in the interim.

I want to be rid of the contract real bad, I just cant seem to figure out wtf happened to the guy? He has to be injured or mentally screwed up. He wasn't ever any kind of defender, but to have the falloff he has at the plate is really surprising. Hope JD could sell ice to an eskimo, cause Choo has gotta go somewhere
