Wheeeeee
Mitch's average nose diving.
I lost my signal last night, but swear, I was thinking the same thing.
Just a few weeks ago he was hitting about .300.
What's up with this sorry SOB?
No Juan Gonzalez at Texas Rangers Hall of Fame induction on Saturday | | Dallas Morning News
He has told the club on more than one occasion that if he were inducted he would not attend the ceremony. Not sure if it's bad blood or just nerves (I don't think he was ever a vocal player) or unwillingness to deal with the media, etc. He deserves a spot in the team HOF, and if he wants to live a private life I'm OK with that.
He doesn't want the team to be linked with bad press from steroids questions is what I've heard.
As good a reason as any.
One of my favorite memories of Juan Gone was during a summer in the 90's. I was with family on our annual trip to Missouri to see the grandparents. Only way to find out Rangers scores was to check the newspaper sports section. Gonzo had a game where he drove in 8. Thought it was a misprint at first. Then went apeshit, and ran to my Dad to show him.

He's had a hit in 8 of his last 10 games, he went from .289 to .285 after this last game, I think both of you are overstating this nosedive a bit, the same thing was being said before the Baltimore series
I tell you what is not an overstatement though....How about what Roogie has done since being back up?
I think I said he might end up around .260/.330./.400
If he keeps this up he's gonna be closer to .260/.350/.450
It is amazing that he didn't go where all Rangers go it seems, to Baltimore.
Rumor mill at work. Tigers may pick up Feliz. Popular resting place for former Ranger relievers
I do as well. He would drive you crazy with his attitude at times, but he almost won our first ever playoff series by himself. He came up big when we needed him to that year and many other times as well.I loved me some Juan Gone...still do.
