Riddle me this

One week from now, the NY Yankees decide to be sellers

They approach Mariano and ask how he'd like a shot at another ring.

They approach the Tigers and ask for a top prospect

Tigers get Mo and become big favorites to win it all

Who and what stops this from happening?

Mo...

Think that team is one teams don't wanna play this 2nd half and I think the players busting their ass for him has a lot to do with it

Good talk

I agree

It makes a helluva lot of sense

Nasty, get Soriano done please

And Eduardo Nunez

Nasty would demote Nunez to independent ball where his talent level belongs...

Yeah, but they keep sending him to the minors when he is > Arroyo.

Maybe that is a good thing as Dusty Baker throws his pitchers arms out like the Giants Bruce Bochy.

Back in the mid80's

I was at a Yankee Brewers game, Ben Oglive hit a line drive HR to right that shattered a seat into a million pieces

That dude was a beast

LOL! Was that the name from a long time ago?

Was just Huwaryu from 2000-this year. Using that name at the other site, as well.

I thought I had seen EMTB in here early on, but not lately. Maybe I was mistaken, seeing as I have poor eyesight to go along with my taste in sports teams.

.300 since his return, a few stolen bases, won them a game, nice showing in Fenway

Considering what he replaced? Nasty wouldn't be that stupid

Only heard of those guys from reading Brewers history book . He played with Paul Molitor and Robin Yount I think on that 1982 WS team that loss to the Cardinals.

See Hawyr, at least when I was turncoat I at least read up on the history :)
