Back in the mid80's

I was at a Yankee Brewers game, Ben Oglive hit a line drive HR to right that shattered a seat into a million pieces

That dude was a beast

Pfffft. No one believes you went to a Yankee game in the 80s.

Yeah, but they keep sending him to the minors when he is > Arroyo.

Maybe that is a good thing as Dusty Baker throws his pitchers arms out like the Giants Bruce Bochy.

Arroyo's been awfully good this year.

Cingrani isn't going back to minors even when Cueto comes back....or ever again for that matter.

At worst, he's in the pen for the stretch drive and the playoffs (or playoff) and in the rotation for good next season after Arroyo leaves.

.300 since his return, a few stolen bases, won them a game, nice showing in Fenway

Considering what he replaced? Nasty wouldn't be that stupid

Nasty would be smart enough to know the crash is coming...

We will see

It's all about who they replace

Should I be excited about a 39 year old Jeter returning?

Probably not

Should I be excited that he will be replacing Travis Hafner?

You betcha

You intentionally take your family to bad movies?

I think you have me mixed up with Cowboy Leonidas. He's the one that tried to raft out of the mean St. Louis mall when his kiosk malfunctioned.

He doesn't do that anymore.

He's washing lettuce now.

Only heard of those guys from reading Brewers history book . He played with Paul Molitor and Robin Yount I think on that 1982 WS team that loss to the Cardinals.

See Hawyr, at least when I was turncoat I at least read up on the history :)

But making fun of people on the internet makes me feel like a big shot...

Last movie? Man of Steel

One before that? Brave.

Before that? Horton Hears a Who.

In short? yes...I do...

I say a six man rotation because of Dusty leaving pitchers in too long.

Know it sounds stupid, but the White Sox did that two years ago to save Jake Peavy's arm.

If this is what you actually thought of Nunez (better than available options) I'd probably agree with you...

"a bat that can't be taken out of the lineup"

Your actual words...

That was Yogi Berras words

I believe the guy can hit. Since his return, it's exactly what he's done

I'll see this play out the rest of the season, and re-evaluate

Amazingly, you will have a problem with this post

"Dusty ruins pitchers" is a myth. They had the same 5 guys start 161 of the 162 games last season, and the only guy who's been hurt this year is Cueto.

They don't need 6 starters down the stretch, and Cingrani going to the pen in September will actually help keep his innings right around where they would want them to be ideally anyway, this being his rookie season.

I've never been critical of attendance and families not wanting to spend hundreds to see a terrible product

And in the 80's there was plenty of awful going on in the Bronx
