And you admitted that some of those numbers come from a shoddy defense. That same defense will be behind Sanchez as well.

Sanchez already played in front of a crappy defense, won't affect him much, biggest difference will be facing a hitter instead of a pitcher

One more start than Dempster, still a small sampe size, and all I said is, is that it shouldn't take much for him to take that designation from Scherzer

That said, I think Doug Fister has righted the ship and is their 2nd best pitcher right now, which is who I thought it would be were he not dealing with injuries and ineffectiveness at the time

If Verlander, Fister, Scherzer and Sanchez all get it going, they could be tough

Only real problem is the defense is still pretty bad, range wise, they make the plays they get to, but they sure don't get to as many as most

lol, just poking ya jta. I was scared of Fister last year, he is scary when he has it working. Scherzer as we saw is the same way. Verlander is actually one of the worst performers since the ASB.
