i'm sorry. what the heck is montreal smoking? price and halak are similar ages (not too far off really, if i remember correctly) and halak more than proved himself this year. price DID have a good attitude about being number 2, but i still think halak is better at this point. heck, what did price prove in his PO experiences?

No :p

Twitter.

Lebrun just reported it's Halak for Eller and Schultz. No word on a 1st. If that's all Montreal got, they were fleeced.

Oh, okay. Because HB was the only place I saw reporting Eller was part of the deal and well..you know.

This is a great trade for St. Louis...

given the playoffs, I'm really surprised the Price is still right in MTL.
He's going to get skewered if he plays poorly next season.

Shocking that they received basically a bucket of crap in return.

Eller is a promising pospect, but you would think Halak could have commanded a much bigger return for Montreal.

yeah...like a roster player perhaps??? i mean, halak still needs to be signed, but he's an RFA! i mean, they can at least get to arbitration. the only thing that may throw this against the blues is if he bolts for the KHL.
