Great goal tending match up, they were both really good.

Glad to see the Habs ice it on a goalie interference call, not that it was a bad idea by Riemsdyk. No I don't think it was from a trip, from the side angle I am not certain Gill even tripped him. Even if he did Riemsdyk took the opportunity to flop into the goalie.

Fun to see Richards start and want to go with Kostitsyn but want nothing to do with Subban, twice. And then Subban didn't want anything to do with Odonnell.

Fun game, the next in 5 days may be fun too.

Also nice of Lapierre to let Powe beat on him for a few seconds.

Well, now we know that at home, with Price standing on his head, some serious help from the referees and a lot of luck, Montreal can beat Philadelphia during the regular season and then get dominated by them in the playoffs.

So, I guess nothing has changed. Even if Montreal is a much improved team, the Flyers are as well. They will not want to play Philadelphia in April or May regardless. I look forward to next monday meanwhile.

Cowering is not a word I used. I stated that it looked like he wanted to go with Kostitsyn but looked like he did not want to go with Subban either time.

Where do we differ in opinion? What do you think happened?
Did it look like Richards would have gone with Kostitsyn to you? Yes or no?
Did it look like Richards wanted to go against Subban to you? Yes or no? He had two opportunities.

To me it looked like he wanted to go against Kostitsyn but not Subban. Just my opinion, sorry if it bothered you.

Again I didn't use the word cowering nor did I mean it. If you think that any time a player doesn't want to fight another it means he is cowering; that's your opinion not mine.

Minnesota, my friend. And they are much better in theory than in practice. I'd take a cheesesteak over them any day of the week. Of course, I'd take a cheesesteak over pretty much anything any day of the week. It's the reason I'm not playing for the Flyers right now, actually. Some say that the reason is that my defense is poor. Some people say that it's the fact that I never, in fact, learned how to skate. But the REAL reason is that I knew at a young age that if I were to live in a city with readily available cheesesteaks and have a job which would pay me enough to eat all the cheesesteaks I want, I would eventually reach a size where the ice and building foundation could no longer support me, and the arena would collapse, and tons of people would die, and they might not let me have cheesesteaks anymore.

That was simply unacceptable, so I pursued a different, less lucrative career. You may appreciate my sacrifice now.
