My thoughts exactly. We have the talent for the #2 spot in Canada, Yet just got swept by the obvious choice for worst team in Canada.

If Allen can be above replacement and they go with him as starter they can. They also have the maneuverability to make a trade or two (they should be in on Eichel if he's actually available in-season and give the Sabres whatever the hell they want in exchange).

I'll also say that Montreal's PP and PK were not good and you can point to coaching to a point for that.

It all starts and ends with benching Carey Price though.
