Dirty dirty hit. He was turned towards the boards the entire time and Adams never let up the whole way. You see the numbers, STOP. Geez.

Crosby's worst game in awhile. That turnover just added to it.

Maybe during this PK, MAF can try to practice goaltending a little bit.

Good for the Pens that Halak got un-hot and decided to allow goals again.

Yeah I guess that 1 day rest didnt work out for him, but thats ok he's back on his game now and shutting the Pens down.

Kudos to Habs & fans. Halak bounced back and although the Pens were on the attack more, the Habs weathered the storm and put the Pens to sleep when they could.

I know. I'm so glad the league rigged it so the Caps-Habs series would go seven games.

good showing by the Habs D and Halak.
Without Markov they did a good job of tightening up the front of the net.

LOL at Edzo praising Crosby. If you're praising that performance, you must not think very highly of Sid.

It looks like the Pens need to get back to basics. They were over passing the puck and not getting enough action in the slot area around Halak. The Pens on the PP where playing on the outside and got a lot of shots but not a lot of quality shots or rebounds.

Nice game Habs

Not sure what Eddie was talking about, this was a bad game from Crosby.

He said he liked the game he had. What???? I mean he set up some nice things, but nothing amazing and certainly nothing to make up for his overall shitty play. I mean that stuff happens; everyone has bad games, but no need to dress it up.

Pens played a pretty good game but the Habs did what they needed to. The played like they did in the last series. No complaints.....Pens just need to get it done and Fleury......maybe I do have a complaint?

Fleury wasn't great, but he basically was hung out to dry for the last one, puck went right to Cammy on the second one, and for the first, Orpik could have made a better play. Obviously it would be huge to get a save there, but I'm not blaming him for this one.

The Pens weren't absolutely awful but Cooke-Talbot-Dupuis should not be your best line, and they largely were. The powerplay was uninspired...perimeter shots, not finding open lanes. There were lots of turnovers in bad places. I'm pretty sure Fedotenko didn't win one puck battle the entire game. Geno was practically invisible most shifts. Sure we dominated SOG, but much like the Caps series, that only tells half the story.

Oh and edit: Not taking anything away from the Habs. Obviously a lot of our issues were caused by their defense. And they took advantage of their opportunities.
