Truthfully if Taggart is calling worth a damn plays near the goal line and FSU hold onto the football it wouldn’t have been nearly as bad and they may have won. He has no one to blame but himself on that first part.

I'm going to agree with all of that.

I've already written in another thread that the first 80 yards
he called plays that went North and South. When we got inside
the 20 he switched to calling plays East and West.

Plus, if you play that style, you have to know other teams will
feign an injury, not so much to slow you down, but for them to
catch their breath.

Additionally, if he hadn't been in such a rush, and given the replay
crew a chance to view a play, we would have scored a TD.
