We were saying here that they needed to play .600 ball leading into the hell-stretch. Well, they have done a hell of a lot better than that!

Maybe they can get away with a .500 month now that they have gotten the Ws elsewhere...

It looks like the Dodgers have a semi tough schedule in August. Philly, Oakland, Cincy are the 3 losing teams. I'm gonna say for us 16-13, just need to stay close to the bums or keep that lead in the WC.

I think we are all being WAY too optimistic. If we end up with the worst of these records, I would be ecstatic. We would still be, at worst, within very serious striking distance of the doggies with a cake-walk September, save for 7 games against the dogs.

I actually like our chances.

It looks like the Dodgers have a semi tough schedule in August. Philly, Oakland, Cincy are the 3 losing teams. I'm gonna say for us 16-13, just need to stay close to the bums or keep that lead in the WC.

The Dodgers remaining schedule is somewhat balanced, edging towards easy. They have 7 vs us, 6 against the Halos and Bucs (THIS is great for us) and 3 vs the Nats, Astros and Cubbies. The rest are against sellers. Their tough games are also well spread out, so they won't get the same endless barage that we will go through in August.
