Like I said 2 weeks ago, we are in a clown car going over a cliff. Several of us were told "not to panic" and Skinsdad said "we would get somebody good".
Sorry Skinsdad and other friends, I am not attacking you but you were wrong and I told you. Manusky will be a disaster and has done nothing of note in his career. This is his 4th time as a DC with his previous 3 times being a train wreck. Why in heaven's name did we hire him?
This should cost Gruden his job. This is his 3rd terrible DC choice and he is clearly NOT learning from his mistakes. Its troubling enough that our best candidates picked the Rams and Chargers ahead of us, but now we go dumpster diving and pick a proven loser.
Like I said several times, this whole process was a disaster and never had much structure to it at all. I am not sure where to place all of the blame BUT if it was Gruden's choice, then he should be shown the door next year if we don't make the playoffs. This is just unacceptable and I see little improvement over last years defense. Truth be told, I think improvement will be made due to the talent increase only.

Best guess...to once again prove @Shark a prophet, to wit: ......."and they said that we couldn't get worse than Barry!"

Which I suppose leads to another interesting question....Does one Cousin equal three bad DC hires?

On a more serious note, my question to you is this: How much do you believe Gruden not wanting his possible replacement on staff played a role?
What role do you believe his having someone as competent defensively as he appears to be offensively also on staff which in effect would be another possible replacement for himself?
